<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Miranda Tam is a former Deputy Chief Representative and Head of Regional Treasury and Asset Management at the Representative Office for Asia and the Pacific of the</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Bank for International Settlements (BIS). She worked alongside the Chief Representative in the management of the Office and oversaw the BIS Banking Department’s financial</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">activities in the Asia Pacific Regional Dealing Room. Her main responsibilities were to support and develop banking relationships with central banks and commercial banks</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">in the region. Ms Tam joined the BIS in 2000 when the BIS set up its Regional Dealing</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Room in the Hong Kong SAR. After more than 25 years at the BIS, Ms Tam officially retired from her position at the end of December 2025.</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Before joining the BIS, Miranda Tam held senior roles in Treasury and Markets groups at major European banks and has many years of trading and marketing experience in</span><span style="font-family: 宋体; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">foreign exchange, options, derivatives and debt capital markets in Hong Kong and Toronto.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Sally Chen is currently IMF’s Resident Representative for Hong Kong SAR. In this capacity, Sally heads the Hong Kong office’s research efforts on financial market developments across Asia Pacific. Additionally, Sally coordinates the Funds’ outreach initiatives in the Greater China region and engages with government authorities, international organizations, academia, think tanks, media as well as market participants.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Sally is a regular contributor to the Global Financial Stability Report, a flagship publication from the IMF. She has been in various capacities at IMF since 2010, including in the Fund's Strategy Policy & Review department where she helped draft the Fund's policy papers on exchange rates and debt management as well as assignments to country teams for China, Spainand the US. Before her current role, Sally was an advisor in the Research Department for Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and started her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;">Sally is a graduate of Wellesley College and Columbia University where she studied economics. Her research focuses on macro-financial linkages, including global liquidity, financial cycles and the impact of debt deleveraging.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; letter-spacing: 0pt; font-size: 10pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
